For a few months now, there had been buzz about Karan V Grover, the lead actor of Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant, quitting the show to try his luck in Bollywood. Now, he has reportedly opted out of it, and will shoot for a few more episodes.

Sources say that the makers have begun auditioning actors to replace him and had approached Mohit Sehgal, who was last seen in Sarojini - Ek Nayi Pehal, for the part. However, the actor doesn&rsquo;t wish to take up the show.
Says Mohit, &ldquo;It is true that they approached me for the show, but I haven&rsquo;t signed it. I don&rsquo;t think I will be doing it because I don&rsquo;t want to be someone&rsquo;s replacement. I want to do a new show altogether.&rdquo;
Producer of the show, Sonali Jaffer, remained unavailable for comment.
