TV actor Karanvir Bohra, who is currently seen in Pocket TVs Ek Tha Deewana, shared a big update on the second instalment of the famous series Shararat, indicating that there could be a new announcement for fans in 2026

TV actor Karanvir Bohra became a household name after his appearances in multiple television serials. But what made the actor rise in fame was his iconic character of Dhruv in Shararat - Thoda Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat. The 2003 sit-come still feels fresh in the memory and serves as nostalgia. When Karanvir sat down for a chat with mid-day, he opened up about the much-anticipated season of Shararat, and he had some intereting tea to spill.

We asked Karanvir who among the newer bunch of actors would be the perfect fit for his role of Dhruv if the popular sit-come was to be made into a movie. He shared, "If Shararat was made into a movie, I think I would play the best Dhruv, hands down. It would be a great thing if Shararat comes out because people identify with Dhruv, Jiya, Pam, Raja, Meeta. I think we should all maintain our characters and go ahead and do this movie. And if God's grace is there, I think it will happen also."
Given that reports of Shararat 2 had been floating around for a while, curious we asked him and he made a big revealation saying. "There have been a lot of talks, there have been a lot of back and forth on Shararat 2. Hopefully, 2026 will, there could be a surprise for you."
Karanvir Bohra talks about the emergence of micro-dramas
Talking about his current projects, Karanvir shared how he has multiple micro-dramas on his plate. Fyrther adressing the compasrison between micro-dramas and web series, he shared, "When web series came in, people thought they're competing with movie cinemas. But that was proven wrong. When TV came in, people thought people won't listen to radio, they won't go for movies. But that was proven wrong."
He added, "When social media came in, people thought that they won't see TV or they won't see movies, they won't see web series. That is also proven wrong. Now there's micro dramas, people are thinking the same thing."
Ellaborating on audience preference, the Ek Tha Deewana actor shared, "You give audience what they want and they will see it. Give them good content and they're happy to lap it up. We as audience have, we're multitasking. So minds want a lot and that's why this is called instant gratification content, where, you feel that you're involved in watching these micro dramas. You know, you feel connected to the characters, you feel connected to the show."
