Every nervous tick, facial expression, and lie is be observed, while loyalties constantly shift. Prime Video’s The Traitors 2 is a reality show where trust is tested daily. But actor-turned-entrepreneur Parul Gulati believes her experience as a founder gives her an edge in a game built on deception, alliances, and calculated moves. “As a founder, I’ve learned that reading people is just as important as reading numbers. Data can guide you, but understanding human behaviour often determines the outcome,” she says.
Entrepreneurship may have prepared Gulati for “negotiations under pressure, making decisions with limited information, and taking calculated risks”. But on The Traitors, she finds herself navigating people rather than numbers. “On The Traitors, you realise very quickly that you can’t take people at face value. Everyone has a motive, everyone is playing their own game, and sometimes your biggest challenge is figuring out who you can trust.”
