Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, once wrote, “To write is to preside at judgement day over one’s self.” Such lucidity of thought is clear in Ibsen’s plays, many of which are familiar to most theatre-goers if not known — A Doll’s House, Hedda Gabler, Peer Gynt, Ghosts, An Enemy of the People, The Wild Duck and many others.
