Mumbai-based band, Indo Gypsies are known for their brand of World music blended with the tunes of Folk music. Experimental by intent, they love fusing different genres of music together such as New Age, Western as well as Indian Classical to create their tunes.

The band is leading the wagon of Indian bands who believe in keeping the Indian-ness alive through their music. On the other hand, the gypsy part of them indicates their journey as eternal travellers, treating the whole world as their home.
Nayan Kawale, lead guitarist of the band says, “Indian Folk is our main genre but we like to use diverse World music like African and Irish as well. It gives a very different and fresh feel to the vocals and composition.”
