With concrete structures becoming the defining aspect of modernity, it’s only a matter of time before local street art reclaims it with its own inspirations. From a kirana store to a garage — the month-long St+art festival in Mumbai has made many heads turn on the city’s roads. With the festival set to culminate soon, it’s time to check out the results at the Magma exhibition, which is being held across two venues —St Jude Bakery in Bandra (Vol I) and Kala Ghoda (Vol II).

Arjun Bahl, founder of the festival, shares, “There are two types of art that one will be able to see. The artworks at
St Jude’s are edgier and more experimental while the Kala Ghoda ones are more structured and heavy on canvases; like a traditional show.”
