Legendary former Indian national cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has many fans across the world, and the latest to express his fandom on a big stage is Mumbai's very own, Divine.
The rapper and songwriter made the revelation during his performance on the first day of The Mix, a Mumbai Indians fan festival held at the Jio World Garden in Bandra Kurla Complex in Bandra East on March 21. After singing quite a few of his hits, Divine being his usual self with fans said, "I am a big Rohit Sharma fan."
He went a step ahead to even sing the song 'Hitman', a tribute to the Indian captain, from his 2022 album 'Gunehgar'.
With the event coinciding with Eid-ul-Fitr, Divine also wished everybody a Eid Mubarak, and went ahead to perform one of his other popular tracks 'Wallah', making fans enjoy it to the fullest while also dancing.
The two-day festival, being held for the first time will continue on March 22 too, as it aims to celebrate the culture of the city's favourite cricket team in the Indian Premier League.
The first day also saw performances from viral sensation Sanju Rathod, known for 'Gulabi Sadi', and even celebrated Indian DJ Nucleya, who ended the night with a bang with several hits, and mixes that kept the crowd dancing till the end.
