Parsi Dairy Farm
Mumbai's iconic 110-year-old Parsi Dairy Farm is the latest city establishment to be temporarily shut by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which has suspended the licence after inspections revealed serious hygiene violations, including fungal growth, pest infestation, inadequate sanitation facilities, and dairy products without expiry date labels. Noor Mohammadi Hotel in Bhendi Bazaar
It comes days after the FDA suspended the licence of Noor Mohammadi Hotel, yet another iconic Mumbai hotel, that has been there for more than 100 years, and known for its Nalli Nihari, and for the Sanju Baba chicken dish, the recipe for which, as the story goes, was given by Indian actor Sanjay Dutt. 

The licence was suspended after officials found unhygienic conditions, including thick oil deposits on kitchen floors, insect entry points, poor storage of raw materials, lack of supplier records, use of old utensils and missing water quality testing records

Shalimar in Bhendi Bazaar
Apart from Noor Mohammadi, the FDA also suspended the licence of Shalimar, popularly known for its Mughlai food and the faloodas.

The licence of the establishment was suspended after officials found 25 major violations during a re-inspection. The issues included wet and slippery kitchen floors, lack of raw material records, absence of drinking water testing reports, missing oil quality records, poor separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items and open windows without insect protection

Rahmania restaurant
The inspection also saw FDA suspend the licence of Rahmania in Umer Khadi, Fort. The establishment faced immediate licence suspension after officials found inadequate storage arrangements, lack of pest-control measures, damaged equipment, poor maintenance of walls and ceilings, and absence of food quality testing records.

The restaurant is popularly known for its Kerala cuisine and other Indian cuisines, that have seen many Mumbaikars and tourists visit them over the years

K Rustom & Co 
The FDA had earlier in July suspended the licence of K Rustom & Co, the popular ice cream parlour off Churchgate railway station on the way to Marine Drive, that is known for its Mango Ice Cream sandwich over the years. 

The renovations come after the FDA inspection by authorities allegedly found serious hygiene and food safety violations, including the presence of live rats, houseflies, expired food products and lapses in cold chain maintenance, an official statement said
