The Bombay Canteen is hosting the 11th Edition of its Independence Day Daawat for a good cause. This year, the theme is 'Make Bombay Green Again', which is in collaboration with NatureRe, a non-profit focused on restoring India’s natural ecosystems.
Serving food on a banana leaf, their chefs curate a feast of regional specials using seasonal, local, and indigenous produce available at this time of the year. Enjoy dishes such as Smoked Chausa Dal, Black Vatana Misal, Aloo Saag Paneer, Punjabi Kadhi, Kheema Ghotala but not without some Purple Cabbage Pachadi, Kerala-style Tender Mango Pickle, Assamese Pumpkin Chutney and more.
