Flavours of tequila
This World Tequila Day, HyLo is putting tequila centre stage with a 11-day celebration dedicated to the spirit from July 21 to July 31, diners and cocktail enthusiasts can enjoy every tequila cocktail on the menu at a special price of Rs 799 at the Kala Ghoda outlet, and at HyLo Taproom by Igloo in BKC and Goregaon. 

Some of the highlights from the cocktail menu include The Tribal Story, made from GI-tagged ingredients like the Gondhoraj lime from West Bengal and Naga Sirarakhong chilli from Nagaland, and is complemented by honey mezcal and a smoked rim. You can also sip on the nutty and spicy Chikki Picante, citrusy Paloma, herbaceous Picante, fruity Tequila Sunrise, and last but not the least a Margarita/Tommy's Margarita.

Coffee and spice 
This World Tequila Day, Portal celebrates tequila with two cocktails that showcase the spirit in very different ways. The 6 PM Show, a favourite among regulars that brings together tequila, Licor 43 and filter coffee in a layered, creamy and bold serve. Inspired by the familiar ritual of unwinding after a long day, it reimagines the classic coffee cocktail through a tequila-forward lens, balancing the richness of freshly brewed filter coffee with the smooth vanilla notes of Licor 43.

For those looking for something lighter and fruit-forward, Chilli Canvas offers a refreshing take on tequila. Made with tequila, ancho chilli and cherry, the cocktail is luscious, balanced and subtle, with just enough warmth from the chilli to complement the sweetness of the fruit without overpowering the drink.

Tequila beyond shots
There's more to tequila than just shots, and World Tequila Day is the perfect time to discover its many expressions. Celebrating the occasion, Olive Café & Bar presents Ay, Agave!, a specially curated limited time cocktail menu across its BKC and Borivali outlets that highlights tequila through five distinctive signature serves. From crisp and citrusy to smoky and bold, the menu explores the spirit in refreshing new ways.

The cocktail menu includes Berry Fields, a refreshing spritz layered with strawberry, fresh mint and a bittersweet finish; Smokes N' Ladders, a smoky cooler balanced with tropical passion fruit and grapefruit; Spicy Senorita, a vibrant picante with cucumber, roasted jalapeño and citrusy lime foam; Very Berry Wild, a bright berry-forward cocktail finished with fresh mint and citrus; and Tokyo Drift, a smooth blend of tequila and sake lifted with bright citrus notes.

Toast to Mexico 
This International Tequila Day, Akina Worli is inviting diners and cocktail enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the vibrant spirit of Mexico with an exclusive week-long celebration in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico and Don Julio Tequila till July 24. 

Throughout the celebration, Mumbaikars can savour tequila cocktails crafted by Head Mixologist Sonam Rai. The limited-edition cocktail selection features Don Julio Paloma, Spicy Margarita, Don Julio Picante & Don Julio 1942 Tequila Signature serve.

The cocktails are also paired with a food menu crafted by Chef Ganesh Pandit, which blends bold Mexican ingredients with the restaurant's contemporary Asian culinary philosophy. Highlights include Guacamole with Golden Fried Corn, Banana Plantain & Nori Crackers, Truffle Edamame Hummus with Raw Mango Salsa, Burnt Avocado & Tender Coconut Ceviche, Scallops Ceviche with Miso Yuzu Dressing, and King Prawns with Steam buns.
