Dear Diana, I am looking for advice on how to get my ex back. We were together for nearly three years, and got along really well. I thought we'd be together forever but it didn't happen. We were having a long distance relationship for a while because I was studying abroad. But then I couldn't take it anymore and told him we should not be together. If he has asked you to move on, I suggest you accept that and move on. Sometimes people grow out of relationships. You've already been together for over three years, so the teething trouble days are far behind you. Doesn't sound to me like he is being stubborn. It seems to me like he wants to get out of this relationship and has made up his mind, so he doesn't even want to discuss it. Don't read anything into the kiss. Let her know how you're feeling, and stress that you don't doubt her for a second. Tell her that as a guy, you can see what's possibly going through the other guy's mind. Tell her you are concerned and want her to be careful. No matter what stage of life we're in, attention from the opposite sex feels nice. It is somewhat of a validation that we appeal to others, so don't be too harsh on your girl.
