But were they aware of what his family had in mind? They were looking for a traditional bahu. There is no point in antagonising them and making matters worse. You need to explain to your hubby. If he is in no mood to listen, then explain your predicament to your folks. They have to give you a patient hearing. If it is causing you too much stress, for some days just don&rsquo;t pay any attention to what they say. Ignore them and lead your life. Hopefully they will realise that people of diverse interests can co-exist. As long as you don&rsquo;t be a source of embarrassment for them, you don&rsquo;t have to worry. Hopefully over time they will see sense. If they do not then weigh your options whether you want to move out of the situation.u00a0
