Planting seeds and serving looks, Jackie Shroff catches up with Shaan R Grover in Bandra on Monday.

A shore thing

Some engagements call for a ballroom, while others belong on a quiet stretch of beach, with a sea breeze and a whole lot of love in the air. Shanaya Munot, daughter of Shaina NC and Manish Munot, went the scenic route, saying yes to Bhavik Merchant in an exquisitely intimate setting. The exclamation point to the moment? A classic, shimmering solitaire that lets its quiet elegance do all the talking.
The announcement came on Sunday, as Navratri began, lending the news an especially auspicious glow. For Shaina — more accustomed to high-stakes politics, draped couture, and public podiums — it was a tender pause to simply be a proud mother. “Our little princess is now someone’s Queen… Bhavik, thank you for loving her the way she deserves to be loved,” Shaina shared — a line guaranteed to melt a few hearts.
Beyond their blossoming romance, the young couple make a formidable team. A Bombay International School and Georgetown alumna, Shanaya brings sharp business acumen to the table, working alongside Bhavik at SwanSAT, his geospatial intelligence venture, where she serves as director and COO. It is a genuine meeting of minds: tech-forward, grounded, and driven.
The beachside proposal may have made this romance official, but the ballroom celebrations will, one imagines, follow soon enough. After all, every fairy tale deserves its grand party!

When Ravi met Calvin

Ravi Shastri and Calvin Harris. Pics/Instagram
Ravi Shastri and Calvin Harris are not a pairing we imagined seeing on our Insta feed, so a photograph of the two together on Shastri’s socials a few days ago certainly got people talking. While speculation has been rife about the rather unexpected association, expect yours truly to reveal the backstory.
Shastri was in Athens to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of Hia Advani and Shaan Mehta, and it was quite the gathering. Shaan, a third-generation entrepreneur of the Torrent Group, is also a director of the Gujarat Titans — which perhaps explains the presence of Titans’ captain Shubman Gill among the guests in Greece.

Calvin Harris was one of the headline acts, performing at the spectacular Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel (which is where Shastri joined him for this now-viral photo). But he was certainly not the only entertainment on offer during the four-day pre-wedding celebrations. We hear that Pritam flew in to regale guests at a Bollywood-themed evening, adding a distinctly homegrown flavour to the festivities.
The guest list was equally eclectic, bringing together Mumbai’s well-connected Chhaya Momaya, international names including Pilar Coin (wife of jewellery designer Roberto Coin), Princess Yasmine Murat of Pontecorvo, and art consultant Giovanna Cicutto (incidentally actor Anthony Quinn’s daughter-in-law), alongside Ahmedabad’s elite.
Between global music royalty, cricketing stars and a decidedly international guest list, Athens was clearly the place to be. And that photograph? It makes a great deal more sense now.

Front-row angel, take two!

Triptii Dimri
Last October, when Triptii Dimri flew to New York for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, her fans had one fervent wish: to see their favourite screen siren don a pair of angel wings and take flight on the ramp. Alas, the Animal star kept her feet firmly on the ground, settling for a coveted spot in the front row instead. But the buzz around her association with the lingerie giant was only just beginning.
As we exclusively told you in February, there was more to this story than met the eye. An official announcement followed in April, confirming Triptii’s appointment as the brand’s first Indian ambassador.
And now, it’s déjà vu, with a little extra sparkle. The Victoria’s Secret show returns on October 18, this time in Los Angeles, and Triptii is all set to make a comeback. The actress flies out to the US on Wednesday and will be back in the front row for the second consecutive year.
Styling her for the occasion, we hear, is none other than Anaita Shroff Adajania, who knows a thing or two about making a statement. No wings this time either, it seems, but with that face card, who needs feathers?
The angels may have the runway, but Triptii is ready to own the front row. And you heard it here first!

Fresh off a rejuvenating wellness retreat at Austria’s famed Vivamayr, Sophie Choudry isn’t just preaching healthy living — she is genuinely walking the talk. The singer-actor, long admired for her radiant beauty, put her tried-and-tested knowledge into action on Monday by hosting an intimate evening centred on gut health alongside wellness advocate Irina Sharma.
Held at Malaika Arora’s chic suburban eatery, Sweeney, the discussion dove deep into restorative wellness, tackling everything from balancing hormones to calming chronic allergies. Sophie guided the conversation with the easy authority of someone living the results, translating clinical detox wisdom into everyday rituals. Malaika arrived fashionably late but made her presence felt, while Soha Ali Khan turned heads with her sculpted abs in an event-appropriate crop top.
For Sophie, wellness clearly isn’t a fleeting trend; it is a personal practice. And by opening up the playbook on what truly works, she proves that the ultimate wellness advocate is one who lives it.

The angels may have the runway, but Triptii is ready to own the front row. And you heard it here first!
