Even if the final score against Australia broke our cricket-loving hearts, this old boys&rsquo; club reunion gave us plenty to dwell on.

The camaraderie was thick in the London heat, as Virat spent the afternoon catching up with former head coach Ravi and his old opening pal, Shikhar. It was truly heartening to see the trio turn up in full force to support the women&rsquo;s game, using their massive star power to spotlight our brilliant girls in blue.
The banter appeared to be flowing as freely as the hospitality drinks, offering a glimpse into the tight-knit bonds forged over years of touring. Accompanying them, Anushka Sharma and Sophie Shine brought an air of effortless elegance to the box &mdash; the actor in heatwave-appropriate linen, while Shikhar&rsquo;s new bride wore Brit high-street brand River Island with the panache of Chanel tweed. King Kohli and his queen also served up a strong watch game, with Anushka casually sporting a classic Cartier alongside Virat&rsquo;s Patek Philippe. Meanwhile, Ravi held court, anchoring the group in a wonderfully exuberant printed shirt.
Sadly, not even the highest-wattage celebrity cheers could turn the tide. Despite Harmanpreet Kaur and the squad putting up a valiant fight, the final overs slipped away, bringing India&rsquo;s World Cup campaign to a heartbreaking end. As Sophie aptly summed it up: &ldquo;A bittersweet visit for my first time watching a game at Lord&rsquo;s.&rdquo;
<h2>Birthday Shenanigans</h2>
Arjun Kapoor&rsquo;s birthday celebrations kicked off late last week and rolled right through the weekend &mdash; even though we know the actor had hoped to keep this year&rsquo;s festivities decidedly low-key, with sister Anshula&rsquo;s wedding to Rohan Thakkar just days away.

Low-key, however, turned out to be relative. Instead of a splashy public bash, Arjun ticked off a few personal wins &mdash; running his first 5K on the treadmill at the gym, dropping by a buddy&rsquo;s birthday party on Thursday, and then spending quality time with family and close friends. Dad Boney Kapoor, uncle Sanjay, the Kapoor girls Khushi, Sonam, and Rhea, designer Arpita Mehta, and a tight-knit circle all turned up to celebrate.
There was no shortage of birthday love either, with cakes arriving from every direction &mdash; including one from a group of paparazzi &mdash; along with balloons, bouquets, and plenty of warm wishes. If the plan was to keep things quiet, the birthday had other ideas. Sometimes, the best celebrations are the ones that take on a life of their own.

This past weekend, Seema Sajdeh and fashion designer Surily Goel leaned into the art of mutual hype, proving that nobody sells your brand quite like your oldest confidante. In a classic two-birds-one-stone move on Instagram, the Bollywood Wives star seamlessly plugged both her relatively new YouTube series, Seema Unfiltered, and Surily&rsquo;s fashion atelier &mdash; with a reel that left us, well... reeling.
