Between catching kaliras and catching her light, mixing business with baubles is clearly all in a day&rsquo;s work.

There&rsquo;s no doubt Mumbai&rsquo;s Master Blaster has been having a smashing summer in London &mdash; heatwave notwithstanding. The latest entry from Sachin Tendulkar&rsquo;s Blighty diary took us to another fabulous Mayfair soir&eacute;e last week, where the cricket icon attended a spectacular summer party hosted by <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/bcci-finalises-apollo-tyres-as-team-india-new-jersey-sponsor-23594298" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Apollo Tyres MD Neeraj Kanwar.</a>

A music recommendation from Asha tai is special enough, but after spending decades enjoying the band&rsquo;s unmistakable flamenco-infused sound, Sachin finally came face-to-face with Reyes as he took the stage for this intimate private performance in Mayfair.
&ldquo;Some moments are worth waiting decades for,&rdquo; Sachin shared, and it&rsquo;s hard not to agree. Between catching up with Dire Straits&rsquo;s Mark Knopfler and now meeting the Gipsy Kings&rsquo;s frontman, Sachin is quietly ticking off what might just be the ultimate musical bucket list.
<h2>Reset For Rashmika</h2>
If you think your calendar is exhausting, try keeping up with Rashmika Mandanna. Our girl has been running on pure adrenaline since February, kicking things off with that spectacularly photographed Udaipur wedding to Vijay Deverakonda. Her mehndi had just about faded when she jetted off to Tokyo for a glitzy awards ceremony, and then it was time to pivot straight into a relentless, smile-for-the-cameras promotional circus for Cocktail 2, right up until its mid-June release.

Frankly, just watching her at work was making me crave a nap. So, it came as absolutely no surprise that about halfway through this humid year, the newlywed superstar finally hit pause. Our impeccable sources say she quietly slipped away to Goa for a much-needed reset recently, checking into an ultra-exclusive wellness sanctuary &mdash; you know the type: strictly Ayurvedic, with a celebrity-approved doctor at the helm. Because even Bollywood&rsquo;s busiest need to unplug before the next act!

Standup star Rohan Joshi had a busy weekend &mdash; opening for fellow comic Sumukhi Suresh at her Hoemonal show on Saturday, because, in his own words, &ldquo;It is traditional for an uncle to introduce the girl.&rdquo; Full marks for Indian uncle energy in a top-notch routine.

But Rohan&rsquo;s real punchline came later, online. In a post that belongs in the museum of modern attention span collapse, Rohan admitted to waking up from a nap, scrolling before washing his face, and briefly &mdash; with the complete sincerity of a half-loaded brain &mdash; believing Aamir Khan had married <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/hollywood-news/article/inside-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-wedding-maren-morris-reveals-custom-guest-gifts-23638421" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Taylor Swift.</a>
And that&rsquo;s the joke: not that it&rsquo;s true, but that in 2026, it almost could be. We now consume so much celebrity content &mdash; from fan edits and fake headlines to algorithmic fever dreams &mdash; that reality loads like a low-resolution stream. One nap, one scroll, and suddenly Bollywood and pop royalty are apparently in a crossover episode nobody approved.
Which is why the weekend&rsquo;s two headline-grabbing weddings hit like season finales of parallel shows &mdash; flooding feeds, WhatsApp groups, and conspiracy timelines with equal seriousness. Blink and you&rsquo;ve missed the outfits, the guest list, the memes, and at least one alternate universe. At this point, our brains aren&rsquo;t processing information &mdash; they&rsquo;re just clicking &lsquo;accept all cookies&rsquo; on reality itself!
<h2>Parliament To Podcast</h2>
Some months ago, we spotlighted entrepreneur Mallika Kulkarni Timblo and her wellness venture, Terrapy, for bringing conversations around puberty, periods, pregnancy and perimenopause into the mainstream. Now, Justhuman founder Roshini Sanah Jaiswal is taking that conversation a step further with It Was Menopause All Along &mdash; a podcast dedicated entirely to menopause.

While the debut episode delivered its share of quotable moments, it is an upcoming conversation with MP Mahua Moitra that had us asking for a preview &mdash; and it doesn&rsquo;t disappoint. Roshini introduces Mahua as &ldquo;one of the most combative, unsparing voices in Indian politics today. A woman who has never once softened herself to make a room comfortable,&rdquo; setting the tone for what follows.
Mahua speaks candidly about an emergency hysterectomy a few years ago that triggered surgical menopause. &ldquo;When you have a surgically induced menopause, you literally fall off a cliff,&rdquo; she confesses, recalling returning to the campaign trail soon after surgery with an election only eight weeks away, while enduring nearly 10 months of disrupted sleep.
The episode, out July 9, also explores the misogyny outspoken women face, alongside moments of unexpected empathy. That such a frank conversation is now happening so publicly feels significant &mdash; a sign that menopause has moved from whispered confidences to the national conversation; literally from Parliament to podcasts.
