Who says fashion fairy tales only happen on the red carpet? Sometimes, they unfold right in the middle of a casual shopping run in Bridgehampton. Just ask designer Payal Singhal, whose recent retail therapy came with a major celebrity plot twist.

A self-confessed &ldquo;huge fan&rdquo; of Jennifer Lopez, Payal was browsing a boutique in New York when JLo herself casually strolled in. Naturally, Payal was convinced it was a prank when her husband tried to give her a heads-up from outside.
Inside the store, the two shared a quick exchange of smiles. But despite being one of India&rsquo;s top fashion names, Payal was struck by a classic case of nerves and stayed glued to her spot. Approaching a global superstar proved a bit too daunting for the notoriously shy designer, who admitted she&rsquo;s never been one to just walk up to famous faces.
Thankfully, she didn&rsquo;t let the moment slip away. Once JLo stepped outside, Payal finally gathered her courage, politely apologised for the interruption, and asked for a photo. And just like that, a sudden bout of stage fright turned into the ultimate summer memory.

This remarkable encounter was the cherry on top of the designer&rsquo;s month-long New York getaway. Having lived in NYC for years before moving back to India in 2010, the city is practically Payal&rsquo;s second home. She spent her summer soaking up the Big Apple&rsquo;s electric energy &mdash; helping launch a multi-designer store on Madison Avenue, hosting trunk shows, and revisiting her favourite old haunts.
Now, after a whirlwind trip of new milestones and one unforgettable celebrity run-in, Payal is back in aamchi Mumbai. And she&rsquo;s brought a little extra New York magic &mdash; plus one very brag-worthy photo &mdash; home with her.

Clearly, Cocktail 2&rsquo;s body-beautiful moment was no one-off for Shahid. &ldquo;If a film requires you to look a certain way, you do the work,&rdquo; the actor said during promotions. And judging by his post-release routine, that isn&rsquo;t a catchy soundbite &mdash; it&rsquo;s a philosophy. Shahid has long spoken about relying on a high-protein vegetarian diet, consistent strength training, and the kind of discipline that doesn&rsquo;t disappear once the cameras stop rolling.
In an age of dramatic crash diets, the actor&rsquo;s approach is decidedly old-school: show up, lift, eat well, repeat. No shortcuts, no magic jabs &mdash; just sustainable habits that have become part of his lifestyle. It is obvious the man isn&rsquo;t chasing a fleeting fitness trend.
