Trading Packs

It’s almost impossible to imagine a single crumb of sugar making it into Tiger Shroff’s body, yet here he is in Bandra on Wednesday, at the dessert table! We always knew he had a solid pack of ‘biscuits,’ we just usually see them on his abdomen rather than a platter

The Twain Shall Meet

Sachin Tendulkar might be living his best life hopping between Mayfair’s exclusive menus, but he’s officially not the only Indian cricket stalwart causing a stir in London. Enter Ravi Shastri, who made an unexpected appearance at Wembley Stadium this week.

On a remarkably steamy London evening, Harry Styles took the stage for his historic 12-night Together, Together residency, looking predictably fabulous in heatwave-appropriate shorts. But let’s be real — the crossover event we never saw coming wasn’t Harry’s wardrobe, but Shastri vibing in the crowd. And before you assume the former India coach is secretly a massive ‘Harrie’ who knows all the choreography, let’s set the record straight: he was really there for the opening act — Shania Twain.
“Shania, you defy age,” Ravi wrote, suitably starstruck after the country-pop icon belted out her greatest hits. So, while the rest of Wembley was high on that Watermelon Sugar, Ravi reminded us that when it comes to true legends, Shania is Still the One to bowl him over.

A Seat At The Top

Another Mumbai native is heading West this month, arriving in Paris well in time to claim a coveted front-row seat at Rahul Mishra’s Haute Couture Week show on July 6. Not only is Delna Poonawalla wearing the brand to the presentation, but the style connoisseur remains one of the designer’s most vocal champions.
Delna Poonawalla
“I’ve followed Rahul’s work from the very beginning,” the heiress notes, having collected his pieces long before the rest of the fashion pack caught on. “I’ve always admired his ability to take traditional Indian craftsmanship and present it in a way that feels completely modern and globally relevant. His work is incredibly detailed, and there’s always a sense of romance and storytelling.”
From what we hear, Mishra has personally curated a series of looks for Delna to wear — a fitting gesture for a longtime patron. Yet, this collaboration goes far beyond a fleeting sartorial moment; it’s another milestone marking India’s brilliant ascent on the global luxury stage.
“As someone who genuinely loves fashion, it feels great to see Indian couture receiving the recognition it deserves,” Delna explains. “More of our designers are participating in international fashion weeks and helping shape the global conversation around craftsmanship, luxury, and creativity.” And in Paris this July, we expect that ascent will be impossible to ignore.

Serpentine Circuit

Just as we were recovering from the sheer sartorial drama of Isha Ambani’s Met Gala look, the formidable style duo of Isha and Diya Mehta Jatia are at it again. This time, they’ve traded the New York steps for London’s most exclusive lawns.

The event was the Serpentine Summer Party on Tuesday, which, for the uninitiated, is an invitation-only, open-air fundraiser held every June in the lush expanse of Kensington Gardens. Ostensibly, the evening serves as the official unveiling of the Serpentine Gallery’s annual architectural commission. In reality, it is the British equivalent of the Met Gala. You simply swap out the red carpet for impossibly manicured grass, and trade the extreme avant-garde for an air of relaxed, aristocratic wealth.
Cementing her status as a global cultural powerhouse, the Ambani heiress returned as ‘Chair of the Host Committee’ for the second consecutive year. She was, of course, in exalted company. The gardens were teeming with poise and power — with Salma Hayek stepping in to co-host alongside Oscar-winning heavyweights Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.

Film faces came in the form of Sienna Miller (sporting fur despite a heatwave), Kristin Scott Thomas, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Naomie Harris, Isla Fisher, and Jeff Goldblum — though this is far from an exhaustive list.
It was a guaranteed collision of worlds — a space where establishment titans like Michael Bloomberg and Lauren Santo Domingo casually rubbed shoulders with British royals like Lady Gabriella Windsor, musician Anoushka Shankar, and artist extraordinaire Anish Kapoor; all navigating the champagne-fuelled evening around LANZA atelier’s striking new pavilion.
The ultimate high-society crossover, the evening proved once again that when it comes to shaping the global cultural calendar, Mumbai’s elite aren’t just happy to be on the guest list anymore — they want to run the room.

Enter Ravi Shastri, who made an unexpected appearance at Wembley Stadium this week.
