Estimating the rising penchant for shooting films on digital mediums by filmmaking greats such as James Cameron and Danny Boyle, one would assume that shooting on film is now an archaic practice. Yet be it Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino, celluloid seems to have its loyal fans. A series of speakers in the city ranging from John Mathew Matthan, director of Sarfarosh, Harmeet Singh, veteran cinematographer with over 30 films under his belt, Neil Sadwelkar, a digital post production expert and others will stoke the raging debate of Digital vs Film.

Tejash Shah, managing director of Accord Equips, shares, “John Mathew Matthan is a veteran of many successful ad films. Given his background of ad filmmaking he has been exposed to both the formats for a long time. We have also chosen two Directors of Photography (DoP) — Amol Gole is a DSLR specialist. He has shot movies like Hawa Hawaai, and Stanley Ka Dabba and Adeep Tandon who has shot hits like Saaransh. The presence of the two different sides will help the audience understand and appreciate and understand both formats.”
