Deepshikha made her debut with the much acclaimed 'Sarbjit' which won her accolades at the Cannes Film Festival 2016. Post that, she went on to back strong subject oriented films like 'Madaari' starring Irrfan Khan as well as out-and-out entertainers like 'Tutak Tutak Tutiya' starring Prabhu Dheva. Deepshikha believes that talent knows no boundaries and has been a big supporter of regional cinema. She partnered with Priyanka Chopra on Puja's films (which is a producer) first Punjabi film 'Sarvann'. Currently, her next project I an upcoming film with Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh.
Apart from films, Deepshikha having studied Botanical formulations couples with her kids being her inspiration, she went on to start her own skin nutrition brand - LOVE Organically. Balancing her accomplishments as a producer and excelling as an entrepreneur, she is on the path to transforming the ways moms look at skin care in India. She is also introducing her organic and natural skin nutrition Line specially crafted for toddlers and their families under LOVE ORGANICALLY.
Deepshikha Deshmukh is also known as Honey Bhagnani. She is the daughter of one of the most respected Bollywood film producers, Vashu Bhagnani. Honey married to a politician and social entrepreneur Dhiraj Deshmukh who is the brother of Riteish Deshmukh after which she changed her name to Deepshikha.

In an exclusive conversation with mid-day, Deepshikha talks about her brand, family and much more...
Let's talk about being a Mompreneur. What do you mean by that? The term Mompreneur may sound clich&eacute;d, but there exists a whole generation of new mums who are turning entrepreneurs by choice and following that one idea they believe in and doing what they have been wanting to do for years while looking after their children.
Tell us something about your skin nutrition brand 'Love Organically' What made you take up such a venture. Your thought process? Love Organically can be perfectly described as a concoction of a mother's unconditional love and the goodness of nature, all packed into one! It was my son's delicate skin that got me all caught up with skin care products and the lack of natural ones available. That was the start of my journey to create products rooted in Ayurveda, that are made with organic, naturally occurring and guided by the wisdom of generations. I wanted to create products that were suited for mums and their kids alike, without any worry of damaging their delicate skin. Our vision is to do something thats bigger than ourselves and be part of a movement where skincare goes beyond just feeling good, but also does good for us and Mother Earth
What are your tips for young entrepreneurs? I don't believe there is a mantra of sorts. But I strongly believe that if you set your eyes on something, and work towards that passionately, with immense dedication and not discouraged by failure. The rest just takes care of itself. So follow your goals and dont giveup
How do you take care of your skin? What is your regime? I prefer not putting too many chemicals onto my skin so i just wash my face as often as I can.And keep it hydrated as much as i can
One skin care tip you swear by? Your favourite skincare product and why? I swear by using only organic and natural ingredients on my skin. My current favourite skincare product is the LOVE ORGANICALLY Neem and calendula body butter -its hydrates and is full of ayurvedic herbs and helps removes blemishes and perfect for dry and irritation prone skin
You dabble with too many things at the same time. How do you multitask and how do you manage your time? What is your mantra in handling your kids? Let me start by simply admitting that trying to strike a balance between all aspects of life is tough.I would be lying if I said it was all easy but I make sure I begin and end my day with my Kids, that way even if I am in office during the day, with their school and classes they don't miss mumma around as much. I tuck them into bed every night and I am back in their room 15 mins before the wakeup every morning, so they never feel mumma is away. Even their breakfast and morning routine schedule is all with me. When they go to school, I go to work - this routine has really helped me balance things between work and my little ones.
You and your sister-in-law Genelia are very close. Do you share parenting tips? Genelia Vahini is a fabulous mom and so hands-on with both the kids - yes we do discuss parenting a lot.
Considering you and your husband Dhiraj have a busy schedule, how do you manage to have a family time? No matter how busy we are, we always make sure we keep enough time for family like our Latur visits during festivities or the short vacations we take with the kids,even the simple things like having one meal together every day as a family keeps us all close-knit and above all my husband and I are like best friends forever.
You haven't tried your hand at acting. Is that a conscious decision? I am very happy, consumed and content with the four roles that I am playing- that of a wife, a mom, a Producer and a mompreneur.
What are you most thankful for? I am generally very thankful for everything in life, but most grateful for finding the best life partner in Dhiraj and for being blessed with two of the most adorable kids
What are your plans for the future when it comes to your brand? I want all mothers to experience the best of natures purest and most effective ingredients packed into bottles of Love Organically
What are your plans for taking Pooja Films to the next level? Pooja Entertainment has been in the business of providing wholesome entertainment for close to two decades now. I just want to take that forward. I believe in changing with the times and our cinema should reflect contemporary realities. I am also very keen to explore all formats of filmmaking.
