The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of IIT Bombay is set to tap into the latent entrepreneurial quality within the institution. The 11th edition of E-Summit &mdash; with speakers from seven countries and entrepreneurs &mdash; promises to guide fledgling business ideas.
Eminent speakers, including Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu, Ronnie Screwvala (founder, UTV) and Rajat Sharma (veteran journalist) will be a part of this summit.
"The fest promotes entrepreneurship. Many start-ups will be a part of this fest. The events have been put together by students," says Smruti Mahapatra, 21, a third year student from the organising committee. The most popular events include 10-Minute Million and Eureka. The former has start-ups pitching an idea to a panel within 10 minutes in the hope of getting financiers. The winning company could get funding up to Rs 1.5 million. Eureka is Asia's largest business model competition, with prizes worth Rs 5 million.

While entrepreneurs speak of their journey, start-ups can look for financiers at IIT Bombay's e-Summit
