Car dealer by day. Passionate chef by night. Sounds like the plot to a superhero film? Guess again! Vikhroli resident Roger D’Souza provides a unique service — a Goan food delivery service born out of passion and run with a lot of heart. D’Souza is a self-taught cook and offers an ever-dynamic evolving menu of quintessential Goan grub. We managed to sample some authentic fare from a menu that includes Chicken Xacuti, Prawn Chilli Fry, Sorpotel, Roast Beef, Fish Curry, Goan Sausage Fry, and Sausage Pulav. Orders are taken through the week, and meals are delivered on the weekend.

So let’s cut to the chase. Is the juice worth the squeeze? Without a doubt. When we spoke over the phone, D’Souza asked me what time would I prefer to have my food delivered. I requested for it to arrive between one and two in the afternoon. On the dot of one, Roger was at our door. Full points, right there. The low-down: prompt delivery, superb pricing, and incredibly delicious food.
