See a veteran artist at her best Veteran artist Lalita Lajmi is holding her 30th exhibition of paintings, titled A Pale View of Hills. The show will be inaugurated by Pheroza Godrej. Say cheers to kahwa An exotic mix of Kashmiri green tea leaves, whole spices, nuts and saffron, which was traditionally prepared in a brass kettle known as samovar, kahwa is a kind of tea that is made by boiling green tea leaves with saffron strands, cinnamon bark, cardamom pods and occasionally Kashmiri roses, for aroma. Generally, it is served with sugar or honey and crushed nuts, usually almonds or walnuts. Some varieties are made as an herbal infusion only, without the green tea leaves. Snap judgement A quick verdict on the buzz
Colour me ros&eacute; This year at the SulaFest, we sampled a wine that&rsquo;s changed our opinion of Indian wines. Under the umbrella of its new label The Source, the Grenache Ros&eacute; is a wine like no other we have tasted in the Indian market. It&rsquo;s smooth, just the right type of sweet and can be drunk all through the day. The high was a gradual one but got us feeling happy without feeling drunk, if that&rsquo;s such a thing. The next day as well, we nursed no hangover. The sad bit: it&rsquo;s only available in the Tasting Room at the Sula Vineyards in Nashik!
A DOA script For a film that is set in the heart of a metropolis, Anand Tiwari&rsquo;s Love Per Square Foot carries a charming small-town feel. An advertisement for a housing scheme for a couple brings together our lead pair, Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar, who decide to get married so they can buy their dream home. While the story tackles the city&rsquo;s foremost problem &mdash; space &mdash; it is, sadly, let down by bizarre twists in a hammy plot. By the second half, the flights of fancy become a bit too much to swallow. Even though every actor brings in their best game, the good work slips through the cracks of a weak script.
When thandai got cooler With five days to go for Holi, restaurants are already on an overdrive to lure us with treats. We laid our hands on the new dessert set by Uber Eats that included thandai ice-cream from Naturals, gujjiyas from Chaayos and rainbow waffles from Icecream Desserts. The ice-cream was creamy and delicious. Yet, it evoked polar reactions &mdash; some loved it, rest didn&rsquo;t. The Gujjiyas and waffles were sumptuous, but if you&rsquo;re looking for novelty, we&rsquo;d recommend the ice-cream.
