Lino-cut is a form of relief printmaking that transforms a sheet of linoleum into a surface for carved expression. Through cuts, textures and impressions, the medium allows an image to emerge slowly, one mark at a time. This weekend, visual artist Poorva Shingre will introduce participants to the medium through a hands-on session at the Jehangir Nicholson Art Foundation (JNAF). Beginners will set out to create their own personalised prints while learning the tools, techniques and small tricks that make the process easier and more enjoyable.
