What if your body has been speaking to you all along, and you simply haven’t been listening? The Listening Club’s upcoming workshop, Blurred Lines: Let Our Bodies Lead, invites participants to slow down and reconnect with themselves through gentle movement, reflective writing and playful group activities at Chimbai Village Theatre. Hosted in collaboration with movement facilitators Aditi Deepak and Ferangiz Hozdar, the beginner -friendly session is designed to encourage presence, trust and self-expression without choreography or the need to perform.
Founded seven months ago by Ikroop Nijjar, the club creates spaces where people practise active listening through conversations and shared experiences rather than judgement or advice. Nijjar says the latest session expands that idea by shifting the focus inward. “We’ve explored silence, voices and even photographs as ways of listening, but we haven’t explored what it means to listen to our bodies. Most of us are constantly in our heads, while our bodies are communicating with us all the time,” explains Nijjar.
