Chal nikal

Chal nikal or chal nikal le is a phrase that I first picked up from my husband, chef Karan Bane, a pakka Mumbaikar. My husband keeps using it. It means to get out or get lost, but is used in a fun or joking manner. I use it a lot in the kitchen. I lead a team comprising mostly boys, and use it in a non-serious way with them to get work done.
