The elephants will be on display across the city, at locations including Worli Seaface, Mantralaya, Palladium, R-City Ghatkopar, Siddhivinayak Temple, Bandra Fort and Carter Road, among others.
Mumbai's street's are filled up with herd of coloured elephants in various parts of the city to raise awareness and funds against the conservation of the endangered Asian elephant. The places include Worli Seaface, Mantralaya, Palladium, R-City Ghatkopar, Siddhivinayak Temple, Bandra Fort and Carter Road, among others.
The initiative has been taken by Indian designers, artists and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Tarun Tahiliani, Sabyasachi, Ashiesh Shah, Ritu Kumar, Michelle Poonawala, Princess Pea, Christian Louboutin and Masaba Gupta.

They have put together a collection of 101 elephant sculptures. The campaign is in partnership with Elephant Family, an international NGO dedicated to protecting elephant habitats, across the world to create a herd of elephant sculptures.
The official inauguration of the parade in Mumbai was held on 25 February, at the Gateway of India. The elephants will be upfor auction online to raise funds for the cause after March 18.
The elephant parade was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis; Minister of Women and Child Development &amp; Founder, People for Animals, Maneka Gandhi; and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Parade Ambassador Poonam Mahajan.
The elephants will be displayed in herds at prominent locations in Mumbai from February 28 to March 18 at places like Worli Seaface, Gateway of India and the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum.
