Sign up for a day-long workshop that will teach you the basics of the sensuous Spanish dance form

If you were left intrigued by the rhythmic Spanish dance in the Bollywood film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a workshop will give you a taste of the same. You get to break into a sweat and dance your heart out while learning the basics of flamenco, a dance form that has its origins in the south of Spain.
Conducted by Shehzeen Cassum, the official ambassador of flamenco dancing in India, the initiation workshop may help you view this dance form through a new lens. Cassum explains, "We want people in India to be aware that this dance form is available for them as it is authentically taught in Spain." Open to all, it is an opportunity for Mumbaikars to learn how to dance to traditional Spanish music with the correct posture, footwork and turns.
