This weekend, gather for QShala’s Sunday Family Quiz with siblings Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan and Shashi Tharoor

The Tharoor siblings will be the special guests at QShala’s 99th edition of Sunday Family Quiz, a weekly online event that sparks curiosity through questions. This edition will include interactions with the writers along with questions on their books — Time to Rhyme by Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan, and Pride, Prejudice, and Punditry by Shashi Tharoor — which are also up for grabs. Co-founder of QShala and a ’90s kid, Raghav Chakravarthy reminisces the fun he had playing a famous quiz contest organised by a chocolate drink company while growing up. He aims to create that magical combination of fun and learning with QShala.
Each week, QShala teams up with different organisations or personalities sharing the role of quizmaster. It’s a chance for kids to listen to different voices from different fields, Chakravarthy tells us. The highlight here is opening young minds to the world and their potential in it, as guests and quiz masters offer a peek into their lives, knowledge and career journeys. For their 99th edition, Srinivasan will don the quizmaster’s hat for the sub junior quiz for grades one to three. Shrija Bhattacharya, engagement associate at QShala, tells us that the plus point is speakers sharing inspiring messages and interacting with children one-on-one, who in turn are always excited to ask questions and learn more. The 22-year-old adds, “Every kid is curious and the platform caters to that curiosity.”
