Like several Instagram users, we too have been hooked to mesmerising art videos on the social network. From colour-mixing videos that help calm our nerves and pose hypnotic properties to fun slime videos with the oddly satisfying squeaky sounds or zentangles, these have been feeding the colour craving of various art enthusiasts. Another such art form is dot painting. Originally an aboriginal form from Australia, this artwork involves creating patterns using dots of different sizes. Dot artworks are also practised by certain communities in Africa.
