Gliding over the shimmering waters of Pawna Lake, with the rugged Sahyadris stretching endlessly beyond, paragliding here is as much about landscape as it is about liberation. While the activity may seem like a recent addition to the region’s growing adventure scene, Temple Pilots, the operators, have been paragliding in the area for over two decades, with Kamshet being the base for one of India’s first and most reliable paragliding hubs.
