Mixing it up

Angad Singh Ranyal is a veteran in the Indian comedy circuit who was a founding member of the group, East India Comedy. That collective is defunct now, but its members — including Ranyal, Azeem Banatwalla and Sapan Verma — have gone on to launch successful solo careers. 

Ranyal will perform a show this week where he will try out new jokes. But he won’t just test fresh material before an online audience. He will also dig into his bag of old routines to pick out the best funny lines from the lot, making it almost a case of old wine in a new bottle.
