Does it feel like until now, you've been reading the news surrounding Aarey Colony- be it the problems arising from Metro construction or those faced by its residents- from afar? This weekend, you can do your bit for the tribals who call the pic-turesque neighbourhood home by attending Jungle in the City, a three-part event that will combine art and music to raise awareness about Aarey. The event is organised by Helm of Eight, a hybrid incubator and community centre in Andheri that is rooted in the cross-pollination of art, self and human resource development, social impact, enterprise and technology.
