Of all the things that helped us tide over the virus, stories were surely one big constant. They held our hands and embraced us with their warmth through ups and downs. Tape A Tale, one of the country’s largest storytelling platforms, was founded by entrepreneur Kopal Khanna in the hope of extending that shell of fondness to listeners across the world. The company that crowdsources personal stories, takes its job of telling and listening to tales seriously. So, every year, Steller  — its gala annual event — chooses a narrator, who can sway our hearts with their words.

Steller 2022 is going digital with a three-phase Zoom event. With over 3,000 entries and auditions in more than 60 colleges, the platform has selected 60 storytellers, who will now fight it out in the second round of the contest. The results of phase two will decide who all make the cut to the final round, which is scheduled to be hosted in Mumbai.
