Before the pandemic made us slow down and recede into our cocoons, spoken word had already caught up with Mumbaikars. From poetry, comedy and storytelling to music and dramatised readings, new entrants and seasoned voices were seen sharing and relating to experiential narratives.

Radio City Free Verse, an event that hoists the significance of the spoken word, is returning with their welcoming platform for poets, storytellers, rappers and other artistes. The upcoming event that will be compered by Priyasy Bokadia, will feature poets Jigar Trivedi and Nishant Verma. This open mic has been curated for those who like to tune in to the vibe of words.
