The State Plate, an e-commerce site launched by Delhi-based college students Raghav Jhawar and Muskaan Sancheti, is on a mission to sell quality local products. They deliver authentic food items produced by vendors across Indian states. My sister was craving for some Mukhorochok chanachur and bodi during the lockdown and she could get it all in Mumbai through The State Plate. What makes the site special is their keen take on history. In a post, they recall the green tin box and Capila Gai packaging of Hindustan Pista Badam biscuits from 1948.
