Charlie Chaplin once said, “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” Making sure Mumbaikars have plenty of reasons to laugh, Martin D’Souza, the festival’s president, better known as Flubber, an Auguste clown (the messy helper or the primary ‘butt of the joke’ with a flesh-toned or pink base with exaggerated red-and-white face features, oversized shoes, and clashing, baggy clothes)  is bringing the International Clown Festival back to the city for its 12th edition. Spread across two days, the festival features The Search for Lost Laughter, a 100-minute family-friendly theatre production that brings together comedy, music, magic, mime and enough tricks to leave audiences laughing.
