While in-clinic skincare treatments are gaining popularity, experts warn that in the absence of adequate precautions, they could produce the opposite of the intended effect

Skincare clinics in the city have been advertising specialised laser treatments that help with tan removal and smoothening texture and fine lines, and micro-needling procedures that stimulate collagen production to reveal younger, fresher-looking skin. However, as Joanna Czech, a celebrity facialist who boasts of a star-studded clientele including Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid and Jennifer Aniston, pointed out, these treatments aren’t the one-size-fits-all miracle cure that many believe they are.
