New Delhi: In fresh twists in the Badaun alleged gangrape case in which two girls were found hanging from a tree, CBI today said the main eyewitness had failed lie detector test raising questions over his testimony.

According to CBI, Nazru, the sole eye-witness in the case, underwent a polygraphic test recently. The report was received today which showed "inconsistencies in his statement" on key questions related to the case.
