A 70-year-old woman at Mumbai’s Dadar area was allegedly robbed at gunpoint on Monday evening. The woman in her complaint told police that the man looted gold ornaments worth Rs 10 to 12 lakh. City cops have registered an offence against an unknown person for the robbery.

According to Dadar Police, the incident occurred at a building near Kirti College between 4.45 pm to 5.15 pm. A man knocked on the door of a flat in which a 70-year-old woman lives. When she opened the safety door, a man told her he had brought sweets from a person named Raikar. When the woman opened the main door, he barged in and held the woman by the throat.
