A Congress candidate contesting the BMC Election 2026 has filed a complaint with the police, claiming that he was threatened and asked to withdraw from the poll race, an official said on Friday, reported the PTI.

The candidate, Pramod Narvekar, is contesting the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections from Ward No. 87, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Vakola police station, the official said.
