BMC polls: Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena candidate attacked with knife in Bandra, rushed to hospital

According to the police, the incident took place around 5 pm in Sant Dyaneshwar Nagar in Bandra east area of Mumbai in which Salim Qureshi suffered cuts to his stomach

An Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena candidate was on Wednesday evening allegedly attacked with knife in Bandra east area of Mumbai and has been rushed to a hospital, police said.

The candidate was identified as Salim Qureshi who had been campaigning in the area after filing his nomination, sources said.
