The anti-chain snatching squad of Pune Crime Branch failure to curb chain-snatching crimes in the city urged Police Commissioner Satish Mathur and Joint Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar to dissolve the squad.

Police Inspector Chandrakant Ghodke, in-charge of the anti-chain snatching squad, has now been transferred to economic offences wing while the remaining police personnel will now work in the crime control room.
