Police officials said Jondhale was attacked by persons who were armed with weapons like swords and choppers.

Soon after the news about Jondhale’s murder broke out, party workers from the nearby area started gathering at Jondhalenagar, following which a heavy police bandobast was deployed in the area to avoid untoward incidents in the area.
