New Delhi: Delhi police on Saturday arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly stealing car batteries in west Delhi. The man was arrested after the police received a tip-off.

According to the police, the accused identified as Ashu Kumar was apprehended from near Punjabi Bagh on Friday. A car, a scooter and 14 car batteries were seized from him, police said, adding he used to sell the stolen batteries to local scrap dealers and hawkers.
