In the aftermath of the Dombivli factory blast, which claimed 10 lives and left more than 60 persons injured, the police face the daunting task of identifying and determining the exact number of fatalities as many bodies are charred beyond recognition, reported the PTI.

A police officer told PTI that crucial evidence, including samples from burnt remains and body parts, has been meticulously collected and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for DNA analysis and matching with the kin.
