‘Edu-consultants’ arrested in Borivli for selling fake certificates, mark sheets

Cops of crime branch’s unit 11 sent a decoy customer to Prime Safaire Education and later raided the place to recover fake certificates of different courses of various universities

Mumbai crime branch officers on Thursday arrested two consultants for providing fake degrees of various accredited universities for Rs 1-3 lakh.
Proprietors of Prime Safaire Education in Borivli East, Pritesh Sohanlal Jain (34) and Raviprakash Maurya (26) sold fake certificates and mark sheets of various private institutes approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. Cops recovered 200 such fake certificates on searching the premises.
