Twenty-four hours after two men posing as policemen entered a house under the ruse of conducting a search and decamped with a gold chain worth Rs 10,000, police managed to arrest one of the accused yesterday. The incident took place at Parvati resident Namrata Navgire’s residence in the wee hours of Saturday when her husband was not at home.

The police suspect the two accused resorted to trespassing due to fallout with the husband. The arrested accused has been identified as Kothrud resident Nikhil Khomane, while his accomplice is absconding after the incident.
