Hyderabad: A 30-year-old woman allegedly peeled off the private parts of her 35-year-old husband with a knife after having an argument, police sources said today.

The alleged incident occurred on Saturday when the woman, who works at a hospital, took out a knife and peeled off the skin of her husband's private parts after he suspected her "character", police sources said.
 
A complaint was lodged today in connection with the incident by the man's brother, while the man has been shifted to a hospital, a police officer said.

The police has registered a case under IPC Section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), Asifnagar Police Station Inspector K Srikanth said, adding, "We have to register the man's statement".

As per preliminary information, the man who is a drunkard, suspected his wife's "character" after which they had an argument before the incident on Saturday, he said.
