Man stabs two after they refuse Rs 50 for cigarettes in Maharashtra's Thane

Both victims sustained injuries to their hands. Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the accused as he remains at large, police said

A 24-year-old man allegedly stabbed and injured two people after they refused to give him Rs 50 to buy cigarettes in Mumbra, Maharashtra's Thane district, police said on Monday, reported the PTI.

The incident took place on the evening of August 5 on Amrut Nagar Darga Road. The accused, identified as Fardam Ibrahim Mansuri, is yet to be arrested, police said.
