The Palghar Police in Maharashtra have registered a case against a 45-year-old man for allegedly beating up a railway pointsman after a rail crossing gate was closed when he arrived there in Palghar district, an official said on Thursday, reported the PTI.

The incident took place on Tuesday when the 31-year-old victim was on duty at the railway crossing in Boisar area, the official said.
